Our own classmate, Clarence Williams, a 46-year
WRAL staffer, is a nominee for Spectacular Magazine’s ‘Man of the Year’ in the community
service category. Clarence volunteers with numerous organizations including the Interfaith
Food Shuttle, Explorer Scouts, Catholic Prison Ministries and Learning For Life,
a program that teaches job skills. He also teaches nonprofit organizations how
to develop and produce community television programs that advocate for their
causes. Clarence is an adjunct broadcast journalism instructor at Shaw
University and St. Augustine's University. As many of you may know, he’s also a
former Army Ranger and Vietnam veteran.
