Classmates:
Mrs. Mary Poole informed us that Mr. Hubert Poole
will receive the Congressional Gold Medal for his service as a
Marine at Montford Point. The Medal will be presented on Sunday,
8/19/2012 at Wilson Temple Church, on Oberlin Road, after church service around 12:30pm -12:35p.m. She is asking Mr.
Poole's former students to join the family for this tribute and
presentation. She said people from Washington will present the Medal in
a 10-15 minute
ceremony with a reception to follow. Please let others know who may be
able to attend.
