Scholarship Recipient

The Harriet B. Webster Task Force presented two scholarships this year. The recipients were Brian Makori and Michael Hockaday. Michael will attend the University of North Carolina at Pembroke where he will pursue a major in Biology; Mike plans to p
be a pharmacist. His scholarship application indicated that he volunteered numerous hours as a tutor at the Raleigh Safety Club After-school Program on Branch Street in Raleigh and at the Central NC Food Bank, also in Raleigh. Congratulations to these young men as they continue their education and service.
